Just found out that we leave August 19…..3 weeks!!!!! Woo Hooo….start the packing party!!!

Micah’s Birthday in China

We used Ann at Red Threads to send Micah a birthday package. What a blessing!! Ann gets it done! Wish we were with Micah for this event but at least we helped her celebrate and will have lots of photo memories for her (Ann sent back 32 pictures!)

Moving Along……

Ugh…..still waiting and definitely on that slow boat to China!! Waiting on Travel Approvals; have submitted visa applications so that is good.  Please let it be soon Lord!!

We Got Our I-800a!!

Finally……had to go under this new program (were I-600 for those who know). Now to go after the I-800 itself…just love all this paperwork….NOT!!! Pray for favor and expedited approvals; we want to bring our baby home!!

We Have A Girl!!! Introducing Miss Micah Danielle Van Patten

She’s arrived!!!!!  We got the news at 3:30……… Her birthdate is July 14, 2009.  She is in Jiangxi Province.  We absolutely adore her already and Zoe couldn’t be more thrilled.  Now, for a QUICK travel turnaround!!!  Could travel in 8-12 weeks…..Pray for as soon as possible!!!!  Pictures posted soon.

Very pregnant! Word is that we should hear today or tomorrow about our referral. We are VERY excited, to say the least. I say boy, Rick says girl, Zoe wants a sister. We shall see!

This blog will cover news about our second adoption to China for baby Micah. We adopted Zoe in March of 2003. What a blessing! Can’t wait to meet our newest member of the Van Patten clan!
